Mitchell Gordon has over 40 years of experience as a C-suite executive (at both public and private companies), as a partner at a private equity firm and as a partner at a bulge bracket investment banking firm. He has extensive SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Companies) experience having served as President and CFO and serving on the boards of 2 SPACs. He brings significant expertise in investment banking, M&A, start-ups, corporate governance and restructuring transactions and has extensive expertise in logistics and transportation, media and specialty finance.

After earning his MBA from the Harvard Business School, he worked in strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions at the American Broadcasting Company. He then worked as a senior investment banker at Needham and Company, Furman Selz, and was a partner at Salomon Smith Barney, where he ran the Global Transportation Investment Banking Group.


In addition, he served as President of Morpheus Capital Partners and CEO of Edition Capital Partners, both boutique investment banking firms. In these roles, Mr. Gordon worked on transactions exceeding, in the aggregate, over $50 billion in value, and he led teams advising on scores of IPOs, capital markets transactions, mergers, SPACs acquisitions and corporate restructurings.


As a corporate executive, Mr. Gordon was Executive Vice President, CFO, and one of three members of the Office of the President of Interpool, (NYSE:IPX) which he helped build into the world’s largest lessor of international cargo containers and chassis and he served as President and CFO of a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (“SPAC”) (NASDAQ: CCAC) that successfully acquired a technology company. He also served as President of Atlas Capital Partners, a private equity firm he founded.


He served as CEO of Adgile Media Group, a start-up he helped build into the world’s leading tech-enabled truck-side media company. He also was CEO of Edition Logistics Management, the New England’s largest independent trucking and logistics company. Mr. Gordon has served on the boards of two SPACs and four other public companies, six private companies, and four not-for-profit organizations.


He has deep industry knowledge and executive management experience in investment banking, private equity, SPACs, logistics and transportation, specialty finance, media, early-stage companies and corporate governance.


Having worked on scores of public and private debt and equity offerings as both an investment banker and on the side of the issuer (company), Mr. Gordon has extensive experience regarding the structure and mechanics of public offerings and similar transactions, including IPOs and SPACs. He also has deep and broad experience in public and private financings, M&A and restructurings and how corporate boards operate. He has served on the board of 12 corporations (including 6 public companies) and 4-non-for-profit boards.
